Earlier we’ve shared that Famitsu revealed more characters for Project X Zone 2, including Sakura Shinguji, Gemini Sunrise and Axel Stone. Famitsu has now released screenshots of the new and returning characters in action.
Sakura and Gemini are a pair unit, while Axel is a solo unit. For those unfamiliar with roles of the characters in Project X Zone: a “pair unit” make up the core playable teams in battles. A “solo unit” serves as more of a summon or assist (like in a fighting game). You can add a solo unit and trade among different pairs pre-battle to customize your teams.
Other characters include the pair unit Ryu and Ken from Street Fighter, pair unit Nana and Ciel from God Eater 2, solo unit Phoenix and Maya from Ace Attorney, and solo unit Aty from Summon Night 3.
