Phantasy Star Nova and Shining Resonance Demos Today in Japan

Belle salle’s Akihabara location, an event hall in Tokyo, is hosting a demo event on November 9th for three upcoming Sega games: Phantasy Star Nova, Shining Resonance, and Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax. BeastNote reported on this news at the end of October by way of 4gamer. Players will receive bonus merchandise for each game they play as long as they are in stock; these items include a Phantasy Star Nova-themed key holder, a Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax-themed desk pad, and a Shining Resonance-themed file folder.

The Shining Resonance demo will feature two difficulty settings and allow players to test out battles against one of the three Drag Machina. Yuuma, Sonia, Kirika, Agnam, Rinna, and Lesti are playable characters. There are no plans to make this demo available outside of this event.

It isn’t clear which demo version of Phantasy Star Nova will be available at this event, but it seems that according to the 4gamer article, players who show up for this demo will receive a product code for the newer demo that allows players to play it before its scheduled November 13 release date. It’s a nice opportunity to try out the demo before it releases. For more information on the new demo, check out our articles here and here.

For those who may be confused by the title, while in many parts of the world it is still November 8th, as of this article’s writing it is November 9th, early in the morning, in Japan. In any case, it seems Sega is really pushing these three titles as of late.
