Atlus Localizes The Legend of Legacy

Atlus have announced that they will bring FuRyu’s 3DS RPG The Legend of Legacy to North America and South America sometime in Fall 2015. The game will be available for retail and eShop. Atlus has offered their own detailed summary of the game, which you can view at this link.

Legend of Legacy is a turn-based RPG set on the island of Avalon where seven adventures explore for personal reasons, until they discover a singing stone that causes them to unravel the island’s forgotten and dark history. You can choose from each of the seven adventurer’s story perspective, and the combat features a “classless” customized party formation system.

The Legend of Legacy is developed by veteran RPG staff which many have done work on previous Square-Enix titles. This include SaGa designer Kyoji Koizumi, Final Fantasy XIII composer Masashi Hamauzu, SaGa illustrator Tomomi Kobayashi, Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VII writer Masato Kato, and the game is directed by Masataka Matsuura from 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors.

Players will enjoy gameplay adjustments based on feedback of the original Japanese release. Atlus has not shared what will change, but we will be sure to give you an update about it.

You can check out the English website here. The site is still fresh, but you can enjoy English screenshots of the game.
