A new character preview video for Yakuza 0 has been released to IGN’s YouTube channel, featuring the second protagonist of the game: Goro Majima. Before he was the wild and uncontrollable gangster that we all know him as now, Majima was a hostess club owner in the city of Soutenbori and a man of extreme poise. He also rocked a ponytail back then, too.
These videos are a long, continued introduction sequence of an early part of Goro Majima’s scenario. It so happens that at around the 12:00 mark, there is a fighting demo sequence for Majima, featuring his incredibly flashy attacking style.
Looking back into the past of such a unique individual as Goro Majima is going to be interesting, and it definitely looks like fun, too. Watch the video below to learn more about this character’s origins! It’s really just the beginning of a great story.
