Sega Announce Miracle Girls Festival for Playstation Vita

Sega have announced their latest anime collaboration, titled Miracle Girls Festival for Playstation Vita scheduled to release sometime this Winter in Japan. The game is a massive crossover featuring girls from mostly slice of life anime using the Project Diva engine. Gameplay looks exactly like Project Diva, with similar interface for the button commands. I’m curious what unique features the game will have over Project Diva. Siliconera translated details of …read more

Yakuza Zero Tops Japanese Sales Charts

Yakuza Zero has taken both the first and second position in the latest Japanese sales charts in its launch week, with the PS3 version selling 145,823 copies, followed by the PS4 version which sold 90,506 copies. While this is good news, the combined total of 236,329 copies does seem rather low for a non-spinoff Yakuza game. In comparison, Yakuza 5 sold 356,757 copies in its first week on the PS3 …read more

Sega and Game Freak Announce Tembo the Badass Elephant

Sega is working with Pokemon developer Game Freak for the first time since Pulseman (on Sega Genesis) for a new sidescrolling platformer titled Tembo the Badass Elephant for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. It is scheduled for release in Summer 2015 and will only be available for digital release. It’s a bizarre choice of platforms given Game Freak’s relationship with Nintendo, however, keep in mind that Game Freak is …read more

Stella Glow’s First Trailer

SEGA recently uploaded the first trailer for the Imageepoch-developed Stella Glow to their YouTube channel. It introduces several characters (and their voiceover artists!) while showing off some gameplay and animated cutscenes, all accompanied by an opening theme song. The “LAST SONG FOR YOU” text flashed at the end of the trailer must have some thematic significance – it’ll be interesting to see how that plays out once we learn more …read more

Etrian Mystery Dungeon: English Sovereign Trailer

This week Atlus USA produced a trailer for the Sovereign (also known as the Prince/Princess) class. For a class with such a straightforward visual concept, they’re rather unorthodox. The Sovereign is a specialized support class that can add useful buffs to your allies’ attacks or give them resistances. You may even aid them in evading enemy attacks (scummy Ninjas looking out only for themselves, harumph, very ignoble.) They can also …read more

The PR manager for Atlus already teased fans about an upcoming announcement last week, and today Atlus officially announced that Lost Dimension will be heading to both North America and Europe this summer. The game, co-developed by FuRyu and Lancarse, is a tactical RPG with gameplay that seems rather similar to Sega’s Valkyria Chronicles. The game’s story revolves around a group named S.E.A.L.E.D., consisting of 11 physically gifted warriors, who …read more
