Genei Ibun Roku #FE Trailers: Featuring Toma and More

Another week, another round of Genei Ibun Roku #FE trailers! There are three for this article after the break.

First is the trailer for Toma. Toma is a spirited guy who is also quite genial and laid-back. He’s all-in-all lovable. The World trailer walks you around Japan, passing passers-by and engaging in the occasional conversation. It’s a rather nice touch that characters that you can’t interact with are portrayed as moving colored silhouettes – it adds to the colorful and poppy feel of the game, and conveys just how populated the world is. The trailer takes a sharp change in tone after a minute or so, though, thanks to the Mirages.

Last is a System trailer showcasing a dungeon and some battles. The Dungeons are wrought with the influence of Mirages and are dark reflections of locations within Tokyo. Genei Ibun Roku #FE does not feature random encounters; battles start when you make contact with an enemy in the dungeon. Battles are turn-based and you fight in groups of three (and also have a sub-cast of currently inactive party members.) After the battle is won, players are treated to experience points, skill points (which you can use to acquire skills of your choosing), money, and Performa (used for weapon crafting.)

New Genei Ibun Roku #FE Character Trailers – Mamori and Barry

Nintendo has published some new character trailers for Genei Ibun Roku #FE ahead of its upcoming late-December release in Japan (Western territories will see the game next year.)

Mamori, voiced by Kaori Fukuhara, is a sweetheart character and looks up to the main character in an “older-brother” sort of way, but such a relationship can be blurred over time. Barry is a lovable goof who punctuates many of his sentences with hot-blooded passion and the occasional dash of English. This might feel like a starkly different take compared to some of the taciturn characters that Yuichi Nakamura (hello Kurt Irving!) is known for.

Genei Ibun Roku #FE Protagonist and Mirage Trailers

Nintendo has posted two character trailers and one Mirage-focused trailer for Genei Ibun Roku #FE for the Nintendo Wii U.

The first trailer is a character “debut” and general story trailer for the cast, building off of the theme of this game where new hopefuls are introduced to the entertainment world. The next trailer is a one minute trailer sharply focused on Itsuki Aoi, the protagonist. The last trailer is only 30 seconds and is supposed to focus on the idea of Mirages and Mirage Masters. Basically half of it features a battle cinematic involving Tsubasa and Caeda, her Mirage.

In other news, the official website has been updated featuring character art for Itsuki, the new trailers, and three new blog posts (the button in the bottom right that says the word “STAFF” on it.) They’re all quite lengthy entries!
