New Persona 4: Dancing All Night Character Trailer for Kanji

Another character trailer has been released for Persona 4: Dancing All Night, this time featuring Kanji. Those who played Persona 4 know Kanji is a more complex character than you might initially expect him to be. While he acts though, it’s mostly just a facade, and he eventually becomes good friends with the other main characters of Persona 4. Like the rest of the team, Kanji is now making a return in Persona 4: Dancing All Night, once again determined to help his friends. You can view his character trailer below. The first video is the original Japanese trailer. The second trailer is an English subtitled version of the same trailer, provided by Youtube user bobrossfreak.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night Yu Narukami Trailer

Atlus’ Japanese YouTube channel recently uploaded the Persona 4: Dancing All Night trailer for Yu Narukami – The MC Himself. This trailer came out unexpectedly fast, considering the Rise trailer was uploaded earlier this week, but…no complaints from me.

No additional costumes in this trailer, but we do get a dual-performance cameo from Yosuke. As was probably expected, Daisuke Namikawa reprises his voice role as Yu.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night Rise Kujikawa Trailer

Atlus has produced a trailer for Persona 4: Dancing All Night centered around the pop idol Rise Kujikawa. The trailer features several voiced lines from Rise and a mix of dialogue and groovy gameplay. Viewers also get to see a handful of character costumes, too. It’s fairly likely that individual trailers for other characters are due in the future, so these should be interesting to see.

Gematsu, when publishing an article about this new trailer, also linked to a version of the trailer with English subtitles, which we’ll reproduce after the break. It’s a little more than a minute long. Be sure to check it out! The game has not been given a concrete release date in North America, but it is still tentatively scheduled for this year.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night Q&A from Producer

Producer Kazuhisa Wada has shared new information about Persona 4: Dancing All Night by answering fan questions on the official website. It’s in Japanese, but Siliconera has translated the Q&A for English readers.

Regarding the game’s release, the game will released both in physical and digital copies as well as music and costume DLC. There are no plans for a demo on the PlayStation Store but one may show up at events.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night’s story takes place shortly after the end of Persona 4 Golden. Nanako is supposed to play a big role, but while she can dance she won’t be doing any fighting. Curiously, a fan asked if Hanako Ohtani will be dancing, but Wada answered no.

To play the game you must time your button presses to notes that will move from the middle of the screen to one of six areas. Type of notes will require either a simple button press or a longer hold. Touch controls were mentioned, but it’s not clear if there are just part of the control scheme or if the game can be played entirely using this method. Wada said a tutorial video will be revealed to help explain the gameplay. The game’s difficulty settings are: Easy, Normal, Hard, and All Night. The difficulty is quite flexible, Wada explained you can make the game even easier on story mode or those looking for a challenge can unlock rewards for full-combo scores on songs. Outside story mode, players can earn new songs by playing “Free Dance” and view character models in some kind of gallery mode. Wada mentioned that each each character will have many costumes to wear and you can see the effort put into each one this way.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night releases in Japan on June 25th and is tentatively set to release in 2015 for North America. The game will only be available for the Playstation Vita, but the Q&A mentioned the game will be compatible with the Playstation TV.

Bolstering the Persona 5 preview momentum is an article from Siliconera announcing that first print copies of Persona 4: Dancing All Night for the Vita will include a Blu-Ray disc with content previewing Persona 5.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night releases in Japan on June 25, 2015. Persona 5 is also tentatively set to release in 2015 for both Japan and North America, so it appears we may be looking at a Q3 2015 or Q4 2015 release window for Persona 5.
