At Sony’s pre-TGS press conference today, Atlus announced that Persona will be released on both PS3 and PS4. They also revealed the first trailer, featuring a new character (which we can assume is the protagonist) arriving at the iconic Shibuya Crossing.
Siliconera has a translation of the recent blog post from Director Katsura Hashino. Among other things, he noted that the game is opposite to the previous one in the sense that it “will depict the lives of youths living in a setting of a big city”. He also apologized for not being able to show more of the game, and looked back at everything that they’ve been working on in recent years. Persona 5 is currently scheduled for release in 2015.
