Miku Symphony Announcement

“Hatsune Miku Symphony” Announced for August 26 in Tokyo

Hatsune Miku will be getting her very own symphony, as Warner Music Japan, in cooperation with Crypton Future Media, the SEGA feat. Hatsune Miku Project and Promax, will be organizing a symphonic concert featuring the virtual idol on August 26. The concert will be performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, at the Tokyo International Forum Hall A in Chiyoda Ward (Tokyo). Aside from the instrumental performance from the orchestra, Hatsune Miku will also be singing, which is probably where SEGA is involved. The illustration of Hatsune Miku for the event was done by KEI.

Tickets will be available for purchase starting June 28th, and will cost 8,000 yen for A-class seats, 9,000 yen for S-class seats, and 14,800 yen for Special Seating that includes limited edition goods and an exclusive pamphlet. The concert will begin at 7PM JST, and the official website points out that there’s no formal dress code in place, so casual clothes will do fine. The official website for the event can be found here, and the official Twitter account here.
