SEGA and Relic Entertainment Present Valkyria Chronicles Skin Competition for Company of Heroes 2

SEGA and Relic Entertainment have announced a Valkyria Chronicles Skin Competition for Company of Heroes 2. The 3D texturing contest involves creating skins for the vehicles in Company of Heroes 2, themed after or inspired by skins from the vehicles featured in any of the Valkyria Chronicles games. These are to be submitted to the Steam Workshop of Company of Heroes 2, and the winners will have their skins added to the game. interestingly, if the winning item is sold in the in-game store, winners will actually receive a share of the revenue made from its sales. A few examples of tanks from Valkyria Chronicles were shown on the official blog post, although you’re not limited to using just these:

Personally, I think it’d be interesting to see fans use this as an opportunity to include skins from Valkyria Chronicles 3, the third game in the series which sadly wasn’t localized by SEGA for the West. Squad 442’s Nameless tank would of course be a good candidate:

The contest will run from June 2nd to July 2nd, 2016. There are a lot of rules and conditions for the competition, so if you’re interested in taking part, head over to the official Company of Heroes blog for the details!
