Yakuza 6 - Puyo Puyo

Yakuza 6 Includes Playable Versions of Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown and Puyo Puyo, Both With 2 Player Mode

Famitsu has revealed more information regarding Yakuza 6, and it includes some interesting information regarding the activities that you’ll be able to experience in the game’s “Play Spots”. Thanks to the translation from Gematsu, we’ve now learned that both Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown and Puyo Puyo will be playable, and they’ll both feature a two-player mode. This also means that SEGA have in fact ported Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown to PS4, so it’s reasonable to think SEGA might end up releasing the game separately as well (and who knows, perhaps this also paves the way for a PC version). In addition, the arcade classics Outrun, Super Hang-On, Space Harrier, Fantasy Zone will also be playable.

Aside from the arcades, there are also the usual hostess clubs, cabaret, karaoke, darts, pool and a batting center that we’ve seen in previous games. However, a new addition are “Live Chats”, which apparently consist of a mini-game where you can have a conversation with scantily clad web cam girls, as shown in the screenshot below. We also included the preview of the upcoming Famitsu article.

For more information, you can find Gematsu’s article with their complete translation here. Both of the images are from Famitsu’s own website. Yakuza 6 is scheduled to be released in Japan on December 8, 2016, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
