Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Americas Release Date Announced, Margaret Not Yet Confirmed

The release date for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax in the Americas was recently revealed. Siliconera writes that the game will be out on September 30 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Rise (Persona 4) and Ken+Koromaru (Persona 3, as one unit) are new characters added to this iteration, and Marie and Adachi, both from Persona 4, will be available as free downloads within the first week after the game’s release. …read more

Sega Announces Chinese Localization for Phantasy Star Nova and Shining Resonance

This news is certain to give us some food for thought. PlayStation Taiwan has announced that Sega will be localizing Phantasy Star Nova and Shining Resonance in Chinese. Gematsu reports that Famitsu has officially revealed Etrian Odyssey 2: Knight of Fafnir – a remake of the second Etrian Odyssey game (Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard)  as Etrian Odyssey Untold: Millennium Girl was a remake of the first. Phantasy Star Nova Demo Coming to Japan August 12 (Updated)

Gematsu reports that the battle demo will be available in Japan on August 12. The demo will allow for multiplayer (up to four players) ad-hoc play. PlayStation Now Beta Includes Some Sega and Atlus Games, But No Valkyria Chronicles/Yakuza

The open beta for PlayStation Now, Sony’s new game streaming service, is now officially underway in the US and includes some Sega and Atlus games. Shin Megami Tensei IV Coming to Europe in September 2014, Price Announced

Atlus recently announced additional details for their European release of Shin Megami Tensei IV.  The game will be made available on the eShop at €19.99 or £17.99 sometime during September 2014. It was also noted that all of the game’s downloadable content, with the exception of an armor set made available in North America as exclusive preorder content, will be available for download in the game’s European release, too.
