New Yakuza Game Exclusive to PS3 and PS4, Sega Reveals Teaser Website

Sega has revealed a new teaser website for their upcoming Yakuza (Ryu Ga Gotoku) game. While it doesn’t have an official name yet it seems likely it’ll just be called Yakuza 6, seeing how Sega has confirmed that the game will be part of the main series. The website mentions that there will be an announcement on August 24th, so it’s safe to assume that’s when the game will be revealed to the public. The game is also confirmed to be exclusive to the PS3 and PS4.

Unfortunately, whether or not this entry will be localized is far from certain. The latest entries (Yakuza 5, Yakuza 1&2 HD and Yakuza Ishin) are all still waiting to be localized. Fans are still trying to convince Sega to change their mind though. We recently reported on the Day of the Dragon initiative, where fans are asked to send letters to Sega asking them to release the latest Yakuza games in the west. The campaign has 4 days left to go so for those that want join the effort, there’s still time!
