SEGA & ATLUS Announce Their E3 2016 Line-Up, Including Yakuza 0, Persona 5, 7th Dragon III and Project DIVA X (UPDATED)

SEGA and Atlus have issued a new press release announcing their lineup of the games for this year’s E3.  For the first time at this event, SEGA and ATLUS will be sharing a stand on the shown floor, located at West Hall Booth #4810. The only actual SEGA Europe title being shown at the stand is Yakuza 0, which will be playable. While Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice is also playable, the title will be published by Nintendo in Europe.  SEGA of America on the other hand will also be showing 7th Dragon III Code: VFD, which sadly hasn’t been confirmed for a European release yet. SEGA’s upcoming Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X will apparently not be shown.

UPDATE: Sam Mullen pointed out on Twitter that Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X will be present at E3, despite not being mentioned in the press release below! He also confirmed that the game will be playable, as a three song demo of the PS4 version will be present at the stage.

As for SEGA Europe’s Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III, it will be shown off the show floor, behind closed doors. You can find the full press release below! E3 2016 takes place from June 14th to June 16th at the Los Angeles Convention Centre.

SEGA & ATLUS Announce E3 2016 Line-up

London, June 7th – SEGA and ATLUS are gearing up for a memorable E3 with a diverse range of awesome titles available to see or play around the show! We’ll take you to the Grimdark future with behind closed doors presentations of Relic Entertainment’s futuristic strategy epic; Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III, which you’ll also be able to catch at the PC Gamer Show on 13th June. We’ll transport you back in time to the mean streets of 1980s Tokyo with Yakuza 0, before fast forwarding to modern day Japan and a world where the ordinary clashes with the extraordinary, in the hotly anticipated ATLUS title, Persona 5. Both will have a presence on the show floor at the SEGA & ATLUS stand located in the West Hall, Booth #4810.

Sonic is back for E3 2016 with Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice, playable on the stand along with the forthcoming dragon hunting RPG tale, 7th Dragon III Code: VFD. E3 takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Centre from June 14th – June 16th, 2016 and this year is an historic year in gaming terms as it will be the first E3 collaboration between SEGA and subsidiary company, ATLUS, who will share a stand on the show floor.

“Over the last few years SEGA have acquired Relic Entertainment and ATLUS and the results are evident now, with what is one of the strongest line-ups we have had at E3 for quite a few years,” said Jurgen Post, COO For SEGA Europe Ltd. “Being able to show Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III to the world’s media for the first time, while allowing show-goers to experience hugely popular titles like Yakuza 0 underlines the direction the business is moving in.”
