Project DIVA X - Satisfaction Artwork

The Latest Project DIVA X Update Introduces Portraits, Albums and More

SEGA of Japan is not letting up on the Project DIVA X updates, as another update was posted today, revealing more of the game’s features as well as screenshots of the recently announced songs and their corresponding modules.

Portrait

First off is Portrait mode. Using the PS Vita’s camera, you can superimpose Hatsune Miku and her friends on your real-life photos, and customize their appearance and pose. There will also be a greater variety of poses compared to the previous Project DIVA games.

Album

The Album contains two main features: Event Collection and Visual Library. The Event Collection, as the word suggests, contains a collection of the events that occurred in the game’s Live Quest Mode. The Visual Library is a collection of artwork for the songs featured in the rhythm game.

Event Collection

The Event Collection features over 240 different events. For example, such an event occurs when give a present to your character. The Album menu shown above gives the player an overview of different events which you can select from (such as “Present Event 1” and “Present Event 2”). Also events related to improving your familiarity with the character (see our previous article) can be viewed again this way.

Visual Library

The Visual Library shows artwork for each of the songs featured in the rhythm game. By playing the rhythm game, the visuals are unlocked in the library. Below are two examples. The first is the artwork for the song “The Name of the Sin” (“Tsumi no Namae”), and the second for the song “Satisfaction”:
