SEGA have posted their 8th information update article for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X, revealing screenshots of the game’s “Ultimate Medley” (which we talked about earlier), which is a medley containing some of the most challenging songs that were featured in earlier Project DIVA games. Shortly before that, SEGA also released a new trailer showing footage from the game’s Cute Medley, called “Idol Sounds” (arranged by Vocaloid producer Mitchie-M).
First of all, here’s the complete list of songs featured in the Ultimate Medley:
- “The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku” by cosMo@BousouP
- “Two-Sided Lovers” by wowaka
- “Sadistic.Music∞Factory” by cosMo@BousouP
- “2D Dream Fever” by PolyphonicBranch
- “The Intense Voice of Hatsune Miku” by cosMo@BousouP
The Japanese name for the medley is “Chouzetsu Gikou Bousou Kumikyoku”. Suffice to say, it’ll be the most difficult quest in the game. Even for the Project DIVA veterans, the medley is sure to pose a challenge on Hard or Extreme difficulty. As such, the article mentions that beginners should probably try the Easy and Normal difficulty levels first, and use different modules and accessories to help make the quests easier to complete. Below you can find the trailer for “Idol Sounds”, as well as screenshots from the Ultimate Medley and the matching “Ultimate” modules for each of the game’s characters (designed by Hidari).
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X will be released on the PS Vita in Japan on March 24, 2016 followed by a release on the PS4 in Fall 2016. A localization for the West hasn’t been announced at this point.
UPDATE: We added some more images from SEGA’s official Project DIVA Twitter account.
