A while ago we wrote an article about the first ever “Hatsune Miku Symphony”, a symphonic concert featuring Hatsune Miku which took place on August 26 at the Tokyo International Forum Hall A. It featured a live performance of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and was conducted by Hirofumi Kurita. The SEGA feat. Hatsune Miku project was also involved with the project.
The upcoming “Miku Symphony 2016 – Orchestra Live CD” is live recording of this concert which features 2CDs with a total of 17 tracks. It will be released on November 11, and is available for preorder from various online retails such as CDJapan and Amazon Japan*. A first print bonus was available, featuring clear folders with various artwork of the five main Vocaloids in the Project DIVA series, but these appear to be sold out already.
A new video, which features footage from the concert itself, has been released by SEGA to promote the upcoming launch of the album. Given that this footage exists, hopefully a DVD/Blu-ray featuring the entire concert will also end up being released?
