Valkyria Revolution Releases on June 27 and Gets a Limited “Vanargand Edition” on PS4 in the Americas

In a new update on the US and EU PlayStation blogs, the new PR Manager for Atlus/SEGA of America Will Chan has posted an update on Valkyria Revolution, a spinoff title from the Valkyria Chronicles series. The blog posts also reveals that pre-orders and limited launch copies of the physical PS4 and Xbox One game will consist of a limited “Vanargand Edition”, which contains several of extras. Unfortunately, it appears only the Americas are getting this version.

Persona 5 Delayed Until April 4, 2017 for the West, But It’s Getting Free Japanese Audio DLC (UPDATED)

During the “Let Us Start the Game” live stream, Atlus U.S.A. announced that the game will be delayed until April 4, 2017 for the Americas and Europe. On the plus side, they also announced that the game will be getting free dual audio. It’s a much requested feature from the fans given the strong Japanese voice cast, so it’s good to see that they managed to include it in the game. On their PlayStation blog update, Atlus PR manager explains that adding the Japanese audio was took a “herculean effort from just about every division of Atlus”.

Yakuza 6 Top Cover

Yakuza 6 PlayStation 4 Bundles Announced for Japan

SEGA and Sony have announced that a special PlayStation 4 bundle, called the “PlayStation 4 Yakuza 6 Starter Limited Pack”, will be released in Japan. The bundle includes a 500GB PS4, a copy of Yakuza 6 and a Yakuza 6 PlayStation 4 theme. It will be released on December 8 for the price of 35,980 yen (around $344).

Another bundle, called the “PlayStation 4 Yakuza 6 Edition”, includes a PlayStation 4, a Yakuza 6-themed top cover, a Yakuza 6 original design package and a copy of Yakuza 6. Two versions of this bundle will be released, one with a 500GB and one with a 1TB PS4, costing respectively 33,480 yen (around $320) and 38,480 yen (around $368). This bundle will also be released on December 8, the same day as Yakuza 6‘s release in Japan. At this point no announcement has been made regarding a localization of Yakuza 6 for the West, but we do have Yakuza 0 to look forward to, which is scheduled for a January 24, 2017 release in the Americas and Europe.

Persona 5 - PS4 Glamshot Updated

Atlus U.S.A. Reveals the Cover Design for the Persona 5 Steelbook Launch Edition

Atlus has unveiled the cover for the Steelbook Launch Edition of Persona 5 in North America and (we assume also) Europe. The design features the entire group of Phantom Thieves (in their daily attire) on the outside of the case. On the inside it will have a clear disc holder that reveals a second design, showing the characters in their Phantom Thief outfit. You can view the image below!

Idea Factory International Reveals a Limited Edition for Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls

Idea Factory International has revealed a Limited Edition release for their upcoming PS Vita game Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls. For $65, you’ll get several bonus items compared to the game’s regular release. We included the list of items included in the Limited Edition below, together with more details and images courtesy of Idea Factory International. You can find more details on IFI’s online store here, where you’ll also be able to preorder the edition starting from September 15th. Europe is also getting this same Limited Edition  (but with a blue Dreamcast character), which can be preordered at http://store.iffyseurope.com, also starting from September 15th. The preorder start time is as follows:

  • North America: September 15 at 10am PDT
  • Europe*: September 15 at 12pm BST

Regarding the PS Vita skin, Idea Factory International also mentioned on Twitter that there will be a sticker that comes with the screen that fits on a PlayStation TV. Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls will be released for the PS Vita on October 18 in North America and October 21 in Europe.
