Project DIVA X Asia Trailer

New Gameplay Footage, Trophy List and Asian Launch Trailer for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X

Dengeki Online have posted an hour long video on their Youtube channel where they play Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X and take a closer look at the game’s various gameplay modes. These of course include the Quest Mode (including medleys), but also the game’s Edit Mode and Portrait Mode. You can watch the video below. In addition, Exophase have posted the trophy list for the game. Over at NeoGAF, someone made an effort to figure out the possible conditions required to unlock the achievements.

The game will be released in Japan and several countries in Asia (with traditional Chinese subtitles) on March 24th for the PlayStation Vita, although it appears that some people have already managed to get a hold of a copy of the game. As such, we now know a couple new details about the gameplay. NeoGAF user Refna noted that the module drops in the game are random, and they may in fact turn out to be modules that you already own. As such, it’s not clear how difficult it will be to get all the modules without resorting to buying the “unlock” DLC keys.

Another important detail about the game that I didn’t mention here before, is that the official website actually states that Project DIVA X’s Live Edit Mode can only use songs included in the game. This would be a really unfortunate limitation compared to previous Project DIVA games on PS3, as many relied on the game’s ability to use audio tracks stored on the PS3 hard drive to create music videos for songs not in the game. Whether or not this is caused by the fact that MP3 files can’t be copied to the PS4’s internal hard disk is unclear, but at this point it appears to be the most plausible explanation.
