EU PlayStation Store “Big in Japan” Sales: An Overview of the Included SEGA and Atlus Games

PlayStation EU has launched their new “Big in Japan” sales, its counterpart to their PlayStation US Store’s “Golden Week” sales. It’s a very long list of games, but below you can find an overview of all of the discounted SEGA and Atlus games per system. We also included a few games from different publishers, but which have some connection to either SEGA or Atlus. Persona 5 is technically on sale as well, but in the EU the digital version has always been overpriced, and the 14% discount only brings it at the same price it was available on at launch in retail. The promotion runs until 19th July 2017.

On the EU PlayStation Store a large number of games are being discounted, and some of them are from SEGA and Atlus. In particular, Valkyria Chronicles Remastered and Odin Sphere Leifthrasir for the PlayStation 4 are part of the “PlayStation Plus Double Discounts”, meaning you get double the discount if you’re a PlayStation Plus member. This brings Valkyria Chronicles Remastered down to €7,99, definitely a good deal. There are also regular 65% discounts on Yakuza 5, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza: Dead Souls for the PlayStation 3. You can find the links below. The discounts run until March 23.

Biggest Ever European PlayStation Store “January Sale” Includes Project DIVA, Persona, Yakuza and More SEGA and Atlus Games

Sony has launched its January Sales on the PlayStation Store, and it’s apparently the biggest sales they’ve ever had, with hundreds of games on sale. It also includes various SEGA and Atlus games, as well as Idea Factory’s Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls. In particular, all three Project DIVA games are on sale, as well as Yakuza 4, 5 and Dead Souls. Persona 4 Golden and its spinoffs are discounted as well, although the original Persona 4 Arena remains absent from the PlayStation Store ever since Atlus took over its distribution rights.

Catherine on PS3 receives a whopping 85% discount, bringing the game’s price down to a very low €2,99/£2.49. At that price, there’s little reason not to give this unique game a try. The same goes for Valkyria Chronicles Remastered at €10,99/£9.49. As usual, you can find the list of discounted SEGA and Atlus games and their prices below!

Persona 5 Pre-Order Available on PlayStation Store, Includes Protagonist Dynamic Theme and Izanagi Persona DLC

Atlus U.S.A. has announced that digital pre-orders for Persona 5 have gone live in the US and Europe. What immediately stands out though is the difference in price for both regions: $59.99 for the US compared to €69,99 (around $74.6) for the EU. While the US digital edition’s price is equal to the base US Steelbook edition, the EU digital edition is around €10 more expensive than the base EU physical “Steelbook” edition. I’m hoping this price is a mistake, as I don’t see a good reason for such a hefty price tag for the EU specifically. Especially since the UK price seems more in line with the US one, and is still $11 cheaper than the price in euro. I made a quick image showing the differences in price below. Valkyria Chronicles Remastered Gets PSN Avatars in the US + Unboxing for the Europa Edition

More news for Valkyria Chronicles Remastered, as it’s nearing its release on May 17 in the Americas and the EU! First of all, SEGA of America have just released a new set of Valkyria Chronicles avatars for the EU! You can find them on the US PlayStation store here. The individual avatars cost $0.49, while the “Full Avatar Pack” containing all twelve avatars costs $3.99.

Golden Week on the US PlayStation Store Includes Various SEGA and Atlus games

Sony has started their annual Golden Week sale on the US PlayStation Store, and as you may expect it contains several Atlus and SEGA games. Aside from the regular discounts, PlayStation Plus subscribers get an additional discount on the games. The sales end on May 3. As usual, you can find the complete list of games below!

SEGA Classics and Persona Games on Sale on the US PlayStation Store

Sony have launched another round of sales on the US PlayStation Store, and the list includes several SEGA and Atlus games. On the SEGA side, we have several classic SEGA games such as Daytona USA, NiGHTS into Dreams as well as newer games such as Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and Resonance of Fate. On the side of Atlus, Both Persona 4 Golden, Persona 4 Arena and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax are all on sale. You can find the list of discounted games below, with a link to the PSN Store page. Note that some of these sales end on April 26, while others end one week later on May 5.

The annual Easter Sale on the EU PlayStation Store is underway, and as you may expect the list of discounts includes some SEGA and Atlus games. As usual, we compiled them in the list below, with prices both in Euro and British Pound added for your convenience. As you can see, it’s a good occasion to complete your collection of Project DIVA F, Yakuza or Persona 4 games! The Easter Sales run until April 6th, and Sony have announced that they will be adding more games to the list next week.

SEGA Adds 16 Valkyria Chronicles Remaster PS4 Themes to the Hong Kong PlayStation Store

Dualshockers noticed that SEGA have added 16 (static) PS4 themes to the Hong Kong PlayStation Store, following the launch of Valkyria Chronicles Remaster in Asia yesterday. An individual theme costs HK$17 ($2.18/€1.96), while a bundle containing all of the themes costs HK$ 210 ($26.96/€24.19). As noted by Dualshockers in their article, these themes can be used on any PS4, provided that you first buy and download them using an Asian PlayStation Network account. We included two links to the themes on the PlayStation Store:
